Sometimes *

60's - Another oldie known as the 'accidental' tune. When I was teaching myself the piano I used a simple bass for the left hand...but my left far finger (whatever it's called) was stuck on the 'D' note and that's how this tune came about. While playing this I used to hum the melody from 'Rio' by Mike Nesmith. Big thanks to Dave Carter on vocals, Peter McDowell guitar and Paul Redmond Drums. It's sort of a 'tongue in cheek' or 'salute' for those early 60's tunes...

Song For Kevin

Smooth Jazz: This is for my very good friend Kevin who passed away in December 2017. I used to record my tunes on my Dad's two track tape recorder and put a slice of paper between the heads after recording to get three tracks.
